User Installation Tips and Troubleshooting

MachineLITE not staying ON, Operating Erratically or False Triggering

For any new light re-location such as during initial setup or re-setup on a new machine, the Android USB cord should be temporarily un-plugged for 3 - 5 seconds to best properly re-establish correct Touch Sense surroundings for proper ON-OFF operation.

The Light is technically triggered by liquid (human finger) or metal.  Therefore placement on some machines may cause false triggering if metal is moving close-by underneath machine cover.  Try new different locations till operation is stable.

Light Does Not Turn ON or is Intermittent

Reliable Touch Light operation is very much also dependent on the quality and proper operating condition of the user provided USB Power Source which may include the following: Charging Cord, Plug Adapters, USB receptacles, USB Wall Adapters or Powerbanks, USB extension cords.

This simple operation Micro Task Touch Light was designed to conveniently run on most known working compatible commonly found USB power sources (0.5 amps rating or higher).  Depending on the model purchased, this could be a direct plug-in to a micro-USB Type B Charging / Power Cord; or, an Apple Lightning Cord through an Apple-to-Android Adapter; or, directly to a USB Type A Receptacle built into an appliance; or, as a portable USB Rechargeable Power Bank; or, a USB Type A Extension Cord. This includes all USB industry versions through present day as sufficiently providing minimum necessary power to run any USB powered Sewlite. Utilizing readily available USB sockets and cords keeps costs low and helps with recycling existing USB power cords. Examples are: USB powered or rechargeable appliances (e.g. Smart Phones, Smart Speakers, Watches, Tablets, Personal Wear Appliances, Flashlights, GPS, Rechargeable Batteries, Vaping, Wireless Speakers, Headsets, etc.) New USB cables, socket adapters, and Powerbanks may also be provided from the seller or purchased directly through Sewlite.

Sewlite Co. or the seller shall only be held responsible for warranty claims of Sewlite branded items themselves and not for indirect failure or improper operation caused from defective or non-compatible non-Sewlite branded new or used thrid party USB power sources (e.g. incorrect cord plug-ends, damaged or frayed cords, rechargeable batteries, worn sockets, wall adapters, non-powered USB ports, etc.). If experiencing any issues with a USB powered Sewlite, please first consider swapping out USB Power Source / Cord till proper operation is realized.  Otherwise, please consult retailer for separate warranty coverage on purchased compatible USB power source accessories.
